The Grand National & Aintree 1970-79

Live in Shropshire, U.K.  Try to get to the Grand National as often as possible - hoping for an E bay bargain ticket again this year!

Don't own a horse, but had one on loan as a child.  

It was the family gathering around the telly for the Grand National back in the 70's that got me started.

Have started sketching again and was looking for old photographs to work from of some of the great and less well known names from the National.
